Trust has always mattered. The difference now is that machines evaluate it alongside humans. AI Trust is Layer 03 of the AI Commerce Intelligence Framework™. It measures the signals that make a business look credible to an AI system: reviews, mentions, authority, reputation, and consistency. Trust directly influences whether you are recommended at all.

What it measures
The five signals of AI Trust
Trust is built from signals AI can actually verify, not from visual badges a human sees. It is the combination of what you show and what the rest of the web says about you. Each signal has its own page.
AI does not recommend what it cannot vouch for. Before a business is considered for recommendation, its trust signals are weighed. Weak or missing trust pulls a business out of the running even when everything below it is strong.
The principle
Trust builds on understanding and feeds recommendation. A business AI does not trust will not be recommended, regardless of how readable or well understood it is.
Example: Two brands sell the same product. One has parseable reviews, press mentions, and a consistent identity across the web. The other has a polished site but no external footprint. AI trusts and recommends the first.

AI Trust is Layer 03 of the AI Commerce Intelligence Framework™, the layered model for how AI systems discover, understand, trust, recommend, and route customers to businesses.
